Just when I thought things would get worse, they do. I've learnt that life is like an hourglass. When it hits rock bottom, you just have to wait for it be be turned around again.

If you spent your life concentrating on what everyone else thought of you, would you forget who you really were? What if the face you showed the world turned out to be a mask... with nothing beneath it?

I don't understand, I just don't.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who do love you.

You and I collide

I'm like a shooting star,
I've come so far,
I can't go back to where I used to be.

Time in school has been good and bad. I'm not certain what school's even for.
Sure I've found great friends, but at the same time I've mended broken friendships.

But we've torn some apart, in ways and reasons that I'm clueless to.

It's such a puzzle how people can change faces so easily. Have they changed, or have I changed?

Or is it simply that all of us were simply wearing masks and facades to hide our true selves, just that we've all chosen to tear away this side at the wrong time?

And just as we were all at our happiest, one side breaks away from this string of friendship, and the other side is left hanging there, hanging on to something, or nothing.

I treasure you. Whether or not you may chance upon it or not, I treasure you. Whether it's my fault, or your fault, I just wished someone would speak to me, and untie this confusion.

It's not a simple question anymore, it's evolved into a matter that everyone's clueless about. I get so fed-up and feel like it's just me against you because you just guard yourself with a barrier that's so unfamiliar.

I need familiarity and security.
